A rim fragment of the body of a medieval or early post-medieval cauldron or skillet, cast in copper alloy. The flattish rim slopes at 45 degrees into a slight internal lip. The thickness of the rest of the vessel is around 3.6mm. The inside face of the vessel is smooth with several longitudinal raised lines and the exterior is more rough.
