Anglo-Saxon copper alloy girdle hanger fragment, 31mm wide and 21mm high with a weight of 8.22grams. The object is in a fair condition with a pitted greenish surface. It represents the lower end of a hanger and is roughly rectangular in shape and is uniformly 3mm thick. It has possible traces of a border made up of punched circles. The upper edge of the object has a protrusion 8mm high and 5mm wide at each edge and in the centre are the remains of the broken off shaft which was C.6mm wide.
