A rim sherd from a Roman Black-Burnished type drop flanged bowl. The sherd has a reduced grey fabric with a fine sand temper and black burnishing on the exterior. The bowl's rim would have had a diameter of about 16cm when complete. The sherd's edges are quite abraded.
