A copper-alloy circular domed mount most likely to be 16th or 17th century in date. This mount measures 28.6mm in diameter and 9.2mm in height. The domed front face is decorated with curvilinear grooves and the flat border has transverse grooves across it. The back face is hollow and has two integral incomplete projecting spikes, which would have allowed this mount to be attached to a strap or belt orignally.
