An early Medieval copper-alloy pin with a polyhedral head 8.1mm by 6.9mm. The head has 13 facets, decorated with four punched dots on each large side facet, a single ring and dot decoration to each of the eight small triangular corner facets and an incised cross on the upper facet. The shaft is c. 23mm in length, with circular cross section 1.9mm in diameter and has a bend towards the tip, which has been lost. There is a small ridged collar at the junction of the shaft with the head.

Polyhedral-headed pins with ring-and-dot decoration are a common find from Middle-Saxon England, and have been placed in a typology of collared pins by Haldenby (2012) with a broadly 9th century date.
