A copper-alloy stud, probably an element of harness dating to the Roman period. The stud possesses a head which is circular in plan and conical in section. From the underside of the stud head, there extends a circular-section stem. The stud head has a diameter of 16mm and a thickness of 6mm. The stem measures 3mm in diameter. The stud weighs 2.6 grams.
