Copper alloy badge fragment. Two cast seriffed letters in modern style: M T. from an openwork military badge, as suggested by the finder. Westlake, page 39  no. 459. He notes that the size of this badge suggests it was for wear on the greatcoat. Suggested date: Modern, 1914-1918

Height: 17.2mm, Length: 32.5mm, Thickness: 1.2mm, Weight: 3.25gms

Class: possibly military
