Incomplete gilt copper alloy pin from a medieval disc-on-pin buckle of Redmayne 2014, Type B with some white fixative remaining within the otherwise empty recess which is surrounded by engraved sinuous radial grooves extending to the edge. Gilding survives on the front and edges and in small patches on the reverse. Part of the loop is missing (old break). Length 27mm. Width / diameter 16mm. 13th - 15th century.
