A complete cast Post Medieval copper alloy pot leg and foot.
Description: The leg is roughly rectangular in shape and cross-section. The fot is pinched and thins towards the 'toes'. The leg has broken off, probably near the base of the vessel. The break is very rough and has an odd patina on the interna. The base of the foot is flat and the edges are worn.
Measurements: The vessel leg measures 70.64 mm in length, 30.1mm wide, 29.01mm thick including foot (19.69mm thick without foot) it weighs 193.89g.
Discussion: Crudely made cast copper alloy vessels were widely used from c.1200-1700 for serving and cooking.
