A worn Iron Age cast copper alloy potin of the Gaulish Remi tribe, from the Champagne region of France, dating to 150-100 BC, Rudd's "Pig-tailed dancer" type, depicting a figure with spear and shield advancing right on the obverse, and a quadruped facing right on the reverse. As ABC p. 31, no. 82; Allen (1995) 483-506.
The coin has been pierced with a drilled hole.
