A ceramic fragment of probable Iron Age or early Roman date. Base sherd of a handmade flat bottomed jar or bowl, in a fine slightly sandy fabric with no obvious inclusions. Red surfaces and core with a patch of reduced fabric (black) from interior surface to core. Body thickness: 9.5mm.
