Silver bodkin fragment, as kindly identified by the finder. Cast rectangular-section pin fragment, broken across a longitudinal slot at one end, and also broken at the other end. Worn traces of finely incised diagonal lines appear on one side. Bent twice. These objects were used as hair or head-dress pins. In view of its material and date this object is to be submitted to the Treasure process, Ref. 2022 T762. Suggested date: Post-Medieval, 1500-1650.
