A small, plain, pierced lead alloy weight of Medieval to Post-Medieval date (AD 1100-1800).
The weight is roughly oval and conical in shape. It has a largely flat bottom, though there is a slightly raised rim around the bottom external edge and the bottom of the circular aperture that pierces the object. It is 26.81mm long, 25.38mm wide and 8.33mm thick. The object is decorated with a stamped design consisting of zig-zag ribs and raised dots on the one face.
The object is likely a whorl due to there being a pierced central aperture (diameter 9.04mm).
