Complete lead weight dating from the medieval to post medieval period (c.AD 1300-1800).
The object is conical in shape and has a flat base. A perforation channels through the object from the apex to the base and is relatively central. The surface of the weight is undecorated and is covered in a white patina.

The object's weight is consistent with 1/4lb under the Tower System (87.5g) which was in use from c.AD 1250 onwards (Egan 1998: 302 Table 14).
