A fragment of a glass Vessel of Roman date (AD 300-410). The object is the base or foot of a small Bessel. Possibly a jug. It is composed of a short section of tubular stem, a rolled tubular base-rim and portions of a concave base. The material is clear with a yellow tinge. There are small bubbles visible within the fabric.
