A sherd of a ceramic Vessel of Post-Medieval date (AD 1600-1750). Cistercian ware. The object is a base and body sherd. The fabric is dark orange/brown in colour with infrequent calcite inclusions. The inner surface retains thick dark brown glaze, the outer surface has covering orange slip. There are circumferential bands visible beneath the slip, indicative of a wheel thrown vessel.
