A copper-alloy strap-slide of medieval date. The object is sub-rectangular, widening out slightly at one end. The sides are of rectangular section, and the vertical outer edge is angled. The other vertical arm has a pierced circular hole half way along. The artefact is covered with a black layer which is possibly a corroded white metal coating. It measures 16.8mm wide by 20.8mm high and 5.2mm thick. It weighs 2.66g.
