The object is trapezoidal in plan with rounded knops at each coroner, plus a fifth in the centre of the bottom edge. Detailing on the face of the bag is simplistic and consists of slightly angled vertical lines to denote folds in the bag, a semi-circular line on the top half to signify the mouth of that bag and a central knop below for the closing clasp. On the top edge is a semi-circular loop.
The reverse is undecorated except for a small rectangular tab in the centre of the left side, which could be the base of a mounting pin that would have been horizontal to the badge.
