An extremely worn copper-alloy Post-Medieval coin, probably a farthing. This coin is probably an extremely worn farthing of Charles II, AD 1660-1685 or possibly Anne, AD 1702-1714 (due to the shape of the bust). Obverse shows an unclear laureate and cuirassed bust left. Obverse legend reads: [CAROL]VS[ . A. – CAROLO]. Reverse shows an unclear Britannia seated left. Reverse legend is illegible. Exergue is illegible. Die axis is 6 o’clock. Weight is 5.25g, diameter is 22.8mm, thickness is 2.2mm.
