A possible copper-alloy clog or book clasp, dating to the Post Medieval period, c. 1800-1900. The plate is sub-rectangular in form and has been formed from a single plate of copper alloy, with both long edges curving inwards to a central point and at either end. The front of the plate is decorated with a stamped geometric motif. The reverse is undecorated and the clasp is probably missing its attachments.
