A fragment of Medieval, ceramic, vessel handle, from a jar or skillet, AD.1200-1400. The object comprises a fragment of the vessel handle, with the upper attachement point intact. The handle curves downwards away from the vessel and likely formed a larger arc to join the vessel again lower down the wall. The fabric is oxidised on the outer surface to a creamy white, while the interior is a reduced light grey. On the surface of the handle, running down its length are a series of circular indented holes, 6 on the upper surface and 4 on each side of the handle, there are none on the underside.
