A medieval silver farthing of Edward I (1272-1307), mint: London, Withers Type 30 (North 1070/1; Fox class 10-11) dating c. AD1300-131.
The coin was struck on an oval-shaped flan and is now chipped and cracked. Some elements of the design are indistinct probably owing to the use of worn dies.
