Obverse description: Crowned head facing. The crown is formed from five pearls with a central cross with pearl terminals. The hair is formed from four curls (crescents with pellets) two either side. The eyes are oval, and may have been formed with a broken punch (as in class Vbiii), however the portrait is worn and the evidence is inconclusive. The letter R in the legend has a rounded top, the E and C are closed, and the X is small and formed with equal arms. The Sceptre divides REX with the R on one side and the EX on the other.
Obverse inscription: HE[N]RIC[VS R]EX
Reverse description: Voided short cross contained within a circle of pellets. In each divided quarter is is a crosslet (cross with pellet terminals). The parts of the inscription are separted by pellets and the R has a rounded top.
