Object is an incomplete copper alloy Roman bow brooch (possibly of Colchester derivative). The front of the brooch is decorated with a central dot design on the centre of the bow. The open catch plate on the reverse is complete but the pin is missing. The brooch has a dark brown and green patina. The brooch has a brown patina and weighs 11.7g and is 49.99mm in length and 28.48mm in width, and has a thickness of 2.63mm.
