A cast copper alloy post Medieval mount, 27.4mm in length, with a tapering triangular plate which has two pairs of lateral cusps, a rounded terminal and moulded foliate decoration to the front. The wider end has a trefoil edge and a single rivet hole retaining an iron rivet. Possibly associated with sword belt sets and of 16th to 17th century date.
