An incomplete decorated cast Post-Medieval copper-alloy padlock, dating to c.AD 1700 - 1850. The main body of the padlock is circular. The front plate has a keyhole in the centre. This plate is decorated with a series of incised curved lines lines. The rear is undecorated. Two iron lugs remain at the top of the padlock at 1 and 11o'clock from the iron shackle.

LON-076933 is a very similar example recorded on the PAS database, this example has been given a 17th century date. Similar padlocks have been found in church yards dating from AD 1790 - 1850. Similar styles were produced in the 19th century, therefore a later date has been given here.
