A very worn, incomplete post-medieval silver threepence of Elizabeth I (1558-1603). Second (North) issue 1561-1583, dated '1580' on the coin. Initial mark unclear. North (1991) no.1998. the obverse is very worn with few distinguishable details and part of the flan has broken away.
