An incomplete, cast, copper-alloy medieval strap loop c.AD 1150-1450.
Sub-rectangular frame with a separate internal rivet (now missing). The outer edge is decorated with a central knop with two longitudinal grooves. Strap loops essentially hold down loose part of a strap.
Length (knop to inner edge): 19.41 mm; width: 19.05 mm; thickness: 2.53 mm. Weight: 2.02g.
