A discoidal lead weight, 60mm in diameter and most likely a pan weight of 222g (c. a Roman bessis or 2/3 libra or 8oz / 1/2 lb on the medieval and post medieval averdepois system). There are no stamps or marks.

Such simple weights were in use from the Roman period onwards, with most post medieval trade weights in use outside of London being of this material and form into the early 18th century (Biggs, 1992:46). Outside of an archaeological context such finds are impossible to precisely date.
