Fragment of a copper alloy sword belt fitting. The main plate would be rectangular with an openwork roundel in the centre, undulating sides and a rivet hole to the front and rear for attachment. However the rear two thirds are truncated. On the forward edge is a large rectangular loop with a second circular loop projecting to the side.
