A medieval silver coin; a short cross cut halfpenny of Richard I or John, dating from about AD 1194 - 1204, class 4a or 4b, probably London mint, but perhaps Norwich or Winchester, moneyer Willelm. It is 19.6mm long, 9.2mm wide and 0.7mm thick. It weighs 0.64g.
