A silver Medieval coin; a short cross penny of Henry III (AD 1216 - 1272) class 7b - c, dating from AD 1222 - 1242, struck by Robert at Canterbury. North number 979 - 980, page 223 of Volume 1. Diameter is 17.5mm, thickness 0.6mm, and weight 1.45g. The coin is slightly bent, probably a result of post-depositional damage.
