An incomplete, clipped and slightly bent Post-Medieval, silver groat of Henry VIII (AD.1509-1547), dating to AD. 1544-1547. Third coinage with third bust, unclear initial mark. Tower Mint. North (1991:114) No. 1844.

Obverse: [....]; Crowned third bust right.

Reverse: [POSVI/DEV A/DIVTOR/E ]ME[V] (I have made God my Helper); coat-of-arms surmounted by cross fourchée.

Measurements: diameter: 24.95mm; thickness: 0.66mm and weight: 1.69g.

Approximately half the outer circumference of the flan is missing.
