A cast lead alloy spindle whorl, bi-conical, Walton Rogers form C2 dating from the late medieval or early post medieval period (c. AD 1450 - 1550). Both surfaces are decorated with raised lines forming a five pointed star, on a field of raised pellets There appears to be a stub of casting sprue on the edge.There is a well-formed central perforation 9 mm diameter.
