A crudely cast lead weight, the object is roughly cylindrical with flattened areas on the side. An off centre perforation runs vertically through the object, 3 mm diameter on one surface, 6 mm on the other.
The object could be a loom weight or net weight. Such weights are difficult to date, as the form is found from the Roman to post medieval periods.
