A copper-alloy enamelled flat disc brooch, 19mm in diameter and 1.7mm in thickness. The pin is missing but the single lug and opposing catch plate survive. The front face is divided into two enamelled areas, there is an outer border with a recessed enamelled area with six evenly spaced circular knops within this, and an inner circular border, which would also have held enamel. Traces of a now black/ dark blue enamel can be seen within the outer area. This disc brooch is very similar to Hattatt nos 1029-1030 and 521A and is 2nd century in date (1989, p344, fig 203).
