An incomplete copper-alloy Nauheim derivative brooch of Lowbury type, dating from 43-250 AD, 51.4mm in length. The bow is flat and lozenge shaped, tapering sharply to the foot. It is decorated with incised lines running along the edges and converging at the head, with narrowly spaced transverse parallel lines across the narrowed foot. The spring has broken away from the brooch, but a portion is retained, wedged against the head. The pin is missing.
