A polished stone axehead of Neolithic date (3450 - 2100 BCE). The lithic is a polished igneous stone. The lithic is lozengiform in plan and is bi-convex in section. The outer edges are bevelled. The blade has a deep chip, the butt end has shallow negative scars, possibly post depositional.
