Post-medieval lead alloy button with the stump of a non-drilled loop on the reverse. The head, of plano-convex cross-section, carries relief decoration stylistically close to that on Read 2010, no. 330, but with a smaller central boss and with a quatrefoil rather than a sexfoil, and four rather than six bosses in the angles. Diameter 24mm. Thickness, excluding stump of loop, 5mm. 17th century.
