Fragment of a medieval copper alloy composite tongue-shaped strap end. A probably cast full-width spacer with a pointed end or knop and a small piece of one outer sheet plate secured by a rivet. Cf. Egan and Pritchard 1991, nos. 695-710. Length 15.6mm, Width 15.8mm. Thickness (excluding sheet fragment) 1.9mm. 14th century.
