Pressed metal conical or domed thimble with a plain basal zone and the rest of its wall occupied by machine stamped pits which appear as if stamped in horizontal rows; basal edge frayed. The top bears similar pits probably arranged in a rectilinear grid. Suggested date: Post-Medieval, 1850-1900
