Object is a incomplete copper alloy, cast mount of unknown date. The mount is a 6 point star shape and is 3d in plan on the obverse, and is concave on the reverse with a small circular lug in the centre. The arms of the star are slightly off centre, it is unknown whether this is because the object has been damaged or if this is a fault in the cast. It has a green and brown patina. The object weighs 9.5g, has a length of 29.15mm, a width of 24.7mm and a thickness of 9.3mm.
