Complete Medieval high tin copper-alloy annular brooch of c. AD 1200-1400 date.
The brooch is annular in plan with a circular cross section. The pin is cast copper-alloy with a rounded point and a sub-oval cross section. The opposite end has a flat terminal which is folded over the frame to form a loop to attach the pin to the frame. This object is corroded across its entire surface. There is no decoration on the brooch frame and it is a dark grey colour.
