A corroded lead object, possibly a pencil or stylus of post Medieval date, 42.8mm in length round in section, 6.8mm in diameter and tapering to a point at one end. The other terminal comprises an irregular lobe, 9.1mm in width.
Similar artefacts have been allocated to a variety of periods from Roman to post-medieval, but most are thought to date from the Medieval or post-Medieval periods.
