Opaque pale grey-buff flint knife. Thick sub-triangular flake with broad flakes struck from its dorsal side and with a markedly bulbar ventral surface; cortex has re-formed over the associated striking platform. Invasive long angled parallel retouch executed from the dorsal aspect defines a cutting edge along one straight side and a more limited zone at the site of an opposite lobe. Invasive angled scalar retouch also trims the bulbar ventral surface, and very short abrupt retouch executed from the ventral aspect forms a more ephemeral cutting edge along an adjacent long side. Suggested date: Neolithic, 4000-2350 BC

Length: 30.4mm, Width: 39.6mm, Thickness: 9.5mm, Weight: 12.71gms
