Grey flint with cortex, scraper. Thick flake with broad flakes struck from its dorsal side, producing a smooth concave thumb rest, and with a bulb on one side of the ventral surface. Angled scalar retouch executed from the dorsal aspect follows a curved edge. Short abrupt retouch executed from the ventral aspect also trims that side where the bulb lies. Patches of misty patina, more on the dorsal side, may suggest a subsequent limited period of exposure to a calcareous environment. Suggested date: Neolithic, 4000-2350 BC
Length: 35.5mm, Width: 25.6mm, Thickness: 9.1mm, Weight: 10.67gms
