A broken copper alloy spur rowel of the medieval to post medieval period, dating from AD 1200 - 1700. About half of the disc survives. It has an oval hole at the centre, and 13 teeth surviving. These are rectangular, with grooves between them. Diameter 40.1mm; thickness 2.4mm and weight 8.20g. It has a grey green patina. See https://finds.org.uk/counties/findsrecordingguides/spurs/#Rowels. Detached rowels are difficult to date.
