Copper alloy Aucissa brooch that has rolled tubular wings (now distorted) that hold the pin axis bar, there is a slot in the rear for the pin, which is now missing. The bow is a rectangular strip that is decorated with a twin central band defined with recessed borders; this is flanked by a series of horizontal recessed lines, with a linear border surrounding the frame. The base of the central band is bifocaled above the narrowed foot which has the catch plate on the reverse.
