Fragment of cast copper alloy blade from an unknown Bronze Age weapon. This fragment is subrectangular in plan and has a flattened oval section. There is no sign of a median rib or ridge. The fragment is abraded and pitted. The original surface survives with a mid green patina and exposed surfaces are only fractionally lighter. The two break edges are worn suggesting damage occurred in antiquity. Both breaks are fairly even, but it is not clear if the fragment has been broken along each side, or whether it has been deliberately cut for inclusion in a scrap hoard. The fragment is 30.02mm long, 21.16mm wide, 5.64mm thick and weighs 15.96g.
