Notes:
This coin was made to commemorate the Battle of Cape St Vincent, one of the opening battles of the Anglo-Spanish War (1796–1808) as part of the French Revolutionary wars (aka the Napoleonic wars). Admiral Sir John Jervis lead the British fleet against Admiral Don Jose de Cordova.
Several designs were created for tokens to commemorate this victory.
